Too many books, reports, news flashes, newsletters, twitter feeds and facebook updates are cluttering our day. Few people stop to ask themselves: why do I subscribe to all these media sources? What am I getting from it all? Am I selecting the right information sources for my decision making? Actually, sorting through news is an inefficient way to go about understanding an industry. Information overload is simply a perception. If you filter correctly, you get only the knowledge that matters.
